A representative team from iTry schools in Nigeria travelled to Cape Town recently in order to participate in the Western Cape 7s. Hosted by Starter Academy the tournament featured age grade rugby from schools across the Western Cape.

The iTry squad, which included players from Lagos and Kano, were coached by Nuhu Ibrahim. Four games of 7 a-side were played at the Stellenbosch University with iTry eventually falling short in the Bowl Final. Along the way some great tries were scored and lots of experience gained.
