iTry Nigeria has signed a partnership agreement with the British Council whereby the iTry Kano school rugby will provide an access point for 240 young rugby players to benefit from a mentoring programme.
The British Council will use their "Active Citizens" to mentor the young rugby players and counsel them on the dangers of drug abuse and violence against women and children.
This is a highly welcome development that will no doubt ensure Try graduates are well rounded individuals who can be a credit to their communities, Kano and Nigeria, as well as the game of Rugby.
